Coastal Grand Mall , a joint venture between Myrtle Beach’s Burroughs & Chapin Company and CBL & Associates Properties of Tennessee. CBL is one of the largest mall developers in the country. Coastal Grand which opened on March, 2004, is Myrtle Beach's newest mall.

Chain stores have opened on the outparcels of Coastal Grand, along with a lot of new restaurants. Costco, Best Buy. Books A Million have also opened free-standing locations outside the mall.

Colonial Mall - (formerly Briarcliff Mall) offers over 90 stores, including Belk and JCPenney. It is located about 8 miles north of Myrtle Beach on US-17. Bass Pro Shop and Islamorada Fish Co. are the newest additions.

Broadway at the Beach - Specialty shops and boutiques filled with delightful surprises you won't find anywhere else in Myrtle Beach. All are nestled around a 23-acre lake in three distinctively themed "Villages": the Caribbean Village, Charleston Boardwalk, and the New England Fishing Village.

Inlet Square Mall, Murrells Inlet. at Hwy 17 Business and Hwy l7 Bypass offers many stores for your shopping pleasure, as well as sponsoring many events and programs. Inlet Square has released artists' renderings of the open-air center planned for completion in 2008. Renovations started late last year. The 100,000-square-foot expansion will add an outdoor courtyard and two anchors. Watch for the expansion of the center before the end of the year, but developers aren't announcing tenants yet.

Barefoot Landing - A unique shopping, dining and entertainment experience in the north Myrtle Beach area, with specialty shops and factory direct stores for your browsing pleasure! Barefoot Landing is home to Alligator Adverntures and Barefoot River Cruises.

Tanger Outlets are celebrating over 20 years as a leading developer of manufacturer's outlet shopping centers. With the purchase of the former Myrtle Beach Factory Shoppes located on Hwy. 501, the Tanger Outlets now have two locations, Tanger South (501) and Tanger North located on Hwy. 17 at Hwy. 22 (Conway Bypass.) Tanger Brand delivers the very best savings on first-quality merchandise direct from the manufacturer to you.

Arcadian Commons is located across the street from the Tanger North Outlet Mall. It is home to Marshall's which recently expanded their shoe department, along with Ross Department store , Kirkland's Home , and the recently opened Fabric Showcase. featuring bolts and rolls of fabric, trim work and tassels. I shopped at the huge Kirkland's recently and found some good bargains. The nice thing about this location is that it is large, and you can park nearby. Much better than Kirkland's at Coastal Grand Mall which feels small and cramped in comparison. Also open in that same strip of new stores is a Cold Stone Creamery and a huge Dollar Store! Across the street you'll find the new Steak & Shake!

Pawleys Island Hammock Shops - This is the birthplace of the original rope hammock and home to two dozen Lowcountry cottage shops, with such treasures as fine handcrafts, jewelry, clothing, and furniture. Located in Pawleys Island, SC
